Why are the hotel costs higher than in year's past?
You will notice that the cost for the hotel is slightly higher than in the past because Ridgecrest adds the cost for the meeting space to the sleeping rooms. You will also notice that the price is dependent on the number of occupants per room. We are lowering the cost of registration to help offset these prices. If you are a group of three or four persons, you could split the cost to make it easier on the wallet.
Do I need to pay in full when I make my reservation?
When you make your reservation, they will charge you one night stay for the deposit, and then will charge you the rest of the reservation and the meal ticket fees when you check into the conference. You will need to order your meal plan when making your reservation.
Do I need to stay in the hotel at Ridgecrest? I have points to stay at a hotel outside of Ridgecrest.
Yes, we need all participants to stay on site at the Ridgecrest Conference Center. If we do not meet our room block, then ARM will be assessed penalties at the end of the Family Holy Spirit Encounter.
We are a married couple and notice that only 2 queen bed rooms are available to reserve. Can we reserve a room with a king bed?
Unfortunately, King Rooms are not available to reserve.
I have a large family and there are more than 4 of us. What can we do?
You have two options available. You are welcome to ask for a roll away bed when you make your reservation for an additional $10 per night. Another option would be to reserve addtional hotel rooms.
Can we check in earlier than normal or checkout late on Sunday?
Check in begins at 4:00 pm on the day of your reservation and Check Out is by 10:00 am (early check ins and late checkouts will not be available on the days that you check in and out).
Do I need a meal plan? Are there other meal options?
With Ridgecrest being a conference center that is outside of town and to stay within the time constrants, it will be easiest on you to purchase the meal tickets. In fact, we have found that the price of the meal ticket per person will actually be cheaper than going to a restaurant off site. The fun benefit to having a meal plan is that we all get to eat together and build relationship and meet new peoople during this time.
There is also an onsite coffee shop that will be available outside of the meal times to get coffee and other snacks throughout the day.
